Maintaining Healthy, Active & Wise Seniors
The Healthy Active & Wise Seniors program is a thriving hub for seniors. It helps build a sense of pride and well-being through activities that improve health, wellness, quality of life.
Is geared toward those 55 and over
Offers a wide range of activities including chair exercises, arts & crafts, congregate lunches, trips, workshops, education sessions, and much more
Brings together over 200 seniors in-person and virtually five days a week, including:
Century Gardens, Brampton – congregate dining on Thursdays
- Chapelview Apartments, Brampton – Health and Wellness Program on Mondays (a partnership with Peel Living and Punjabi Community Health Services)
Nance Horwood Place, Brampton – Yoga program on Mondays
Funded by the Ministry of Health, as well as project funding from the New Horizons for Seniors, individual donors, and fundraising activities by the seniors.
