Associate Executive Director

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Associate Executive Director is responsible for building a strong team, fostering a dynamic organizational culture and strengthening our programs and impact in our community. The Associate Executive Director will embody and lead RootsCS in the execution of its mission and vision while upholding the organization’s values.

Term of work: Full-time position
Hours of work: 35 hours a week
Compensation: $86,000 to $91,000 annually plus benefits

Counsellor, Black Men Speak Up Program

The objective of the Black Men Speak Up program is to deliver culturally-appropriate counselling, clinical intervention, advocacy and support to help men from the Black, African and Caribbean communities overcome obstacles to living healthy and productive lives.

Term of work: Contract: 12-month
Hours of work: 35 hours a week
Compensation: $60,000 to $65,000 annually plus benefits

To provide direction, leadership, support and guidance in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations and planning of volunteer services in accordance with the strategic directions of Roots Community Services. This role will ensure the ongoing recruitment, supervision, management and recognition of all volunteers through the organization.
