Roots Community Services has been providing programs and services for children, youth, women, seniors and families in the Region of Peel since 1985. At the heart of our organization is the desire to help clients lead healthy and productive lives. Through our programs and services, we create pathways to wellness that help empower and inspire clients to build on their strengths and find solutions to overcome the challenges they face.

Bowl-A-Thon

Our annual Bowl-A-Thon is back. Sponsor your favourite team or player and join the fun while we raise funds for a great cause. All proceeds go to our Arts Literacy and Tutoring Club and our Healthy Active and Wise Seniors programs. Join us on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Bowlero Brampton.
Black Men Speak Up

BHSS Hub Community Advisory Council
The Black Health and Social Services Hub is actively recruiting volunteers to join the Community Advisory Council (CAC). Your insights and feedback are invaluable as we aim to meet the needs, priorities and aspirations of BAC communities.
CASSA Health Equity Summit
Our partners at CASSA invite you to the 13th Annual Health Equity Summit. Learn up to date strategies on addressing health disparities that disproportionately affect marginalized communities.
ABR-SD Forum
Our Anti-Black Racism and Systemic Discrimination Collective has launched the ABR-SD Forum. Peel residents are welcomed to engage in dialogue, advocate for change, equity and social justice.
Social Enterprising and Entrepreneurial Development (SEED) Program
We are excited to announce that we are accepting registrants for our SEED program. Join us for this 12-week training to build your entrepreneurial skills and learn how to successfully run a business from seasoned experts. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to unlock your potential as an entrepreneurial woman of colour.
Youth Advisory Board
We invite youth ages 12 to 24 years old to join our Youth Advisory Board. We want to hear your voice and learn how we can better support youth through our programs. Members of the Youth Advisory Board will receive an honorarium.
