Roots Community Services has been providing programs and services for children, youth, women, seniors and families in the Region of Peel since 1985. At the heart of our organization is the desire to help clients lead healthy and productive lives. Through our programs and services, we create pathways to wellness that help empower and inspire clients to build on their strengths and find solutions to overcome the challenges they face.

Social Enterprising and Entrepreneurial Development (SEED) Program

We are pleased to announce that we will be introducing the Social Enterprising & Entrepreneurial Development (SEED) Program. SEED will offer a supportive, empowering space for women to build entrepreneurial skills and employment readiness. The program includes a 12 week business mentorship workshop along with supportive counselling.


Black Leaders of Tomorrow

We invite mentors and mentees to join our Black Leaders of Tomorrow youth mentorship program. This engaging program offers the opportunity for Black youth to be mentored by a seasoned professional who supports them in developing valuable business and professional skills.

Black Men Speak Up

Black Men Speak Up offers a safe, brave space for men to share their experiences. This Canadian Men’s Health Month we want to hear your voice as we explore the question 'How are you really feeling?'. Hosted by Fimo Mitchell, this discussion takes place on Wednesday, June 21 at 7:30 pm. Join us this and every third Wednesday of the month.
